Embracing Cultural Unity
Our Vision
Leading Light Multicultural Association is dedicated to showcasing the vibrant service activities of the Chinese community alongside multicultural events. We aim to foster understanding and collaboration through diverse initiatives, community activities, and interviews with community figures that share inspiring stories and experiences.

Our Initiatives
Engaging the Community
Explore our various initiatives that aim to elevate cultural engagement and community support. We focus on events that unify and celebrate diversity, promoting harmony through mutual understanding.
Interviews
Voices of the Community
We feature interviews with community figures and multicultural storytellers, sharing personal journeys, lived experiences, and cultural perspectives that foster understanding, reflection, and connection within a diverse society.
Our work has also contributed to NSW Government-supported precinct initiatives, including Asian Food @ Ashfield and Eastwood “145CT”, through bilingual community storytelling, cultural interviews, and human-centred media content highlighting local businesses, migration stories, and multicultural community identity — reaching audiences of approximately 100,000 views per precinct.

Workshops
Learning Together
Our workshops provide opportunities for community members to engage with diverse cultures through hands-on experiences, creative participation, and shared storytelling — fostering cultural appreciation, intercultural understanding, and community connection.
We have also delivered media, storytelling, and digital communication training for more than 30 self-media platforms, multicultural organisations, and community participants, supporting stronger audience engagement and cross-cultural communication capacity.

Events
Cultural Celebrations
We organize multicultural festivals and events that celebrate the rich cultural heritage of our community, encouraging participation from all walks of life.
The organisation develops crossplatform projects combining events, media and publication across Sydney. It is also supported by the NSW Government’s Stronger Together Festival and Event Program for a multicultural community event to be delivered in June 2026.

Outreach
Building Connections
Our outreach programs aim to connect diverse groups within the community, promoting dialogue and collaboration to enhance social cohesion.
